Georgie, All Along

Author: Kat Clayborn

Genre: Fiction

Rating: ★★★★★

Kate Clayborn’s Georgie, All Along follows Georgie Mulcahy, a capable but directionless woman who returns to her hometown after losing her job and realizes she has no clear plan for the future. While sorting through her belongings, she discovers an old high school “friend fiction” journal filled with the dreams and adventures she once imagined for herself, and she decides to begin working through those forgotten aspirations. Along the way she reconnects with Levi Fanning, a quiet, disciplined man who has carefully structured his life to keep his own past wounds contained. As Georgie rediscovers her sense of self and Levi slowly allows himself to step beyond the boundaries he’s built, their relationship grows into something deeply tender and hopeful. Clayborn crafts a beautiful romance about healing, self-worth, and second chances, and for me Georgie and Levi easily became one of the most memorable contemporary couples of the year.
